A neat video about prophets and the implications of being a “witness.”

Confession: I made this video.

The idea came when watching the most recent General Conference of the church. In it, President Eyring described   how Jesus appeared to his disciples on the road to Emmaus and then called them “witnesses.” He then said this: “I am a witness of the Resurrection of the Lord as surely as if I had been there in the evening with the two disciples in the house on Emmaus road. I know that He lives as surely as did Joseph Smith when he saw the Father and the Son in the light of a brilliant morning in a grove of trees in Palmyra.”

To me, this was fairly unequivocal. President Eyring is telling us that he knows first hand that Jesus Christ is real and living.

This sent me on a search. I have heard similarly unequivocal statements from other general authorities, and I wondered if I could make a collection of them. So I made a video off of what I found.

I believe that there are men who are prophets of God and witnesses of the living Christ.

I think about that, and I find it amazing.
